Action

The action of the preparation during nebulization is based on the use of various mechanisms that facilitate the removal of secretions from the respiratory tract, improving breathing comfort, i.e

breaking the ionic bonds of the mucus secretion, thereby reducing the viscosity and elasticity of the secretion
absorption of water from the mucosa and submucosa, which reduces swelling of the airway walls
stimulating the cough and expectoration reflex as mechanisms supporting the removal of mucus remaining in the bronchi, which leads to the opening of the respiratory tract

When used for eye instillation and nasal rinsing, the preparation works on the basis of mechanical forces.
Indications

The main indications for the use of Nebu-dose isotonic are:

Inhalation therapy: the solution is indicated for patients of all ages, especially those suffering from bronchiolitis, acute bronchitis, cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The preparation can also be used as a carrier for other drugs intended for inhalation.
Sprinkling and washing the eyes: reduces discomfort caused by unfavorable environmental conditions, such as air-conditioned / heated rooms, dry, smoky surroundings, etc.
Nasal rinsing and cleansing: symptomatic relief of a runny nose (rhinitis).

The method of using the medical device

Inhalation therapy: the preparation can be administered using any type of nebulizer. It is recommended to follow the instructions for use specified by the manufacturer of the device. For a single inhalation use 4 or 5 ml of the solution, as prescribed by your doctor.

Application to the eyes: the solution can be applied to the surface of the eye in the presence of contact lenses. Gently press the ampoule to place a few drops of the Nebu-dose isotonic on the surface of the eye. Use as often as necessary.

Nasal application: tilt the head back. Insert the tip of the ampoule into the nostril and gently press it. Repeat for the other nostril. Straighten your head to allow the mucus to drain and wipe off any excess fluid. Use as often as necessary. Do not blow your nose for 10 minutes after applying the preparation. In the case of infants, the preparation should be applied using as little pressure as possible on the ampoule to avoid the risk of complications in the middle ear.
Contraindications and precautions

Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not store above 25 ° C.
The product does not contain preservatives. After opening the ampoule, its contents should be used immediately, and dispose of the ampoule after use in order to avoid contamination that may be a source of infection.
Do not use the preparation in combination with other drugs without consulting the attending physician.
In very sensitive patients, the preparation should be administered according to the doctor’s instructions, since the administration of a bronchodilator may be necessary first.
In the event of bronchospasm or persistent cough, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Do not use after the expiry date.
Do not use if the ampoule is damaged.
For direct use. One ampoule may only be used by one person.
The same ampoule should not be used simultaneously for eye instillation and nasal irrigation.
