The ampoules contain 20% caffeine. Caffeine is trimethylxanthine from the group of plant-derived purine alkaloids. Caffeine affects the lipolysis process by stimulating cAMP. Thanks to this, it inhibits phosphodiesterase activity and indirectly stimulates adipocyte lipase by increasing the hydrolysis of triglycerides to free fatty acids. The administration of caffeine in mesotherapy allows for a lipolytic effect without a systemic accompanying reaction.
