Sutricon silicone scar patches, thanks to their unique structure, are exceptionally comfortable to use. The effectiveness of silicone patches has been confirmed in numerous clinical studies.
Properties
Silicone scar patches effectively improve the appearance and elasticity of scars. Their innovative structure, containing silicone gel, has properties similar to healthy human skin: elasticity, oxygen permeability, and prevention of excessive transepidermal water loss. Thanks to these properties, the patches reduce scar-related discomfort, such as pain, itching, and a feeling of tightness.
Composition
Ingredients: silicone gel, flexible polyurethane membrane.
How to use
Sutricon silicone scar patches can be used after the wound has fully healed and after suture removal. Before use, thoroughly clean and dry the scar. The patch can be cut to any size to fit the scar surface. The patch should be changed on average every 3 to 5 days, but the best results are achieved by replacing the patch every 24 hours.
How long should scar patches be worn?
To achieve satisfactory results, use the product regularly and follow the instructions for use. The length of treatment is individual and depends on many factors, including the size and type of scar, age, and genetics. The first results of using the patches may be visible after a month, but the full treatment should last:
at least 3 months for fresh scars
at least 6 months for older scars
For those prone to abnormal scarring, such as keloids or keloid scars, it is recommended to use Sutricon patches throughout the scar reconstruction period, even up to 1 year.
Intended Use
The 5 cm x 30 cm silicone patches are sized to accommodate scars from:
thyroid surgery
abdominoplasty
burns
cardiac surgery.
