Indications:
Ibesan Maślan Forte is a preparation developed for dietary management in: inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. Crohn’s disease) functional bowel disorders (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome IBS) or antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Biological role of butyric acid in the intestine

SCFAs (short-chain fatty acids) perform many important functions in the human body. First of all, they directly stabilize the structure and ensure the integrity and functionality of the intestinal wall, stimulate the growth of saprophytic bacterial flora, thus inhibiting the development of intestinal pathogens such as E. coli, Campylobacter and Salmonella. SCFAs have a trophic effect, accelerating healing and intestinal regeneration. Maintaining the integrity of the intestinal barrier is key to the proper functioning of the intestine. Butyric acid significantly affects its maintenance.

For dietary management in:

• functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract: abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhea, constipation, functional dyspepsia
  inflammatory bowel diseases: Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
  irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  intestinal inflammation after radiotherapy
  intestinal flora disorders after antibiotic therapy
  diverticular disease of the large intestine
  conditions after diagnostic and surgical procedures within the gastrointestinal tract
  in diarrhea in intestinal infections

Ingredients:
Sodium butyrate, palm oil, capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

1 capsule/ 2 capsules contain:
Sodium butyrate 300 mg/600 mg
– including butyric acid 240 mg/480 mg

Use:
Adults 1-2 capsules a day (morning and evening). The preparation should be taken for at least 3 months.

Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule once a day for a minimum of 6 weeks, used in the evening.

The capsule should be swallowed whole (do not chew, do not spill the contents), drink water. Take during a meal.
