Phosphatidylcholine affects fat cells, the so-called adipocytes, thanks to which it easily penetrates cell membranes into their interior, and when administered in larger amounts, it disrupts their structure. Moreover, after entering the cells, it causes the breakdown of triglycerides and then, together with lipoproteins, it is transported to the liver where fats are broken down and excreted from the body. Removal of dissolved, liquid fat is carried out by physiological processes, i.e. the lymphatic, circulatory and immune systems. Triglycerides from damaged adipocytes are transported to the liver where they are naturally metabolized.
– reduction of local fatty deposits.
