Action

The main exfoliating effect is due to trichloroacetic acid (TCA), which, unlike more invasive peels (which require a very long recovery time combined with pain, redness, possible discoloration), acts on the deeper layers of the dermis without causing superficial irritation.

This effect is due to the presence of ozonides, special compounds that release oxygen on the skin, neutralizing the aggressiveness of the acid. Fibroblast activity is stimulated in the papillary and reticular layers of the dermis, promoting the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

This function is enhanced by the presence of mandelic acid, which helps accelerate natural cell turnover, performing a light, superficial exfoliation and whitening of discoloration.

This treatment restores a youthful appearance with shiny and smooth skin.

Its safety and ease of use make the product also suitable for the décolletage area.

The antibacterial effect of oxygen released by ozonized olive oil makes the product an excellent treatment for active acne.

Composition

Ozonated Olive Oil: has remarkable therapeutic properties when used in ozone therapy:

The instability of ozone has prompted scientists to store the gas in a kind of ‘biological reservoir’. For this purpose, the attraction of gas to unsaturated fatty acids was used. Ozone absorbs and combines with vegetable oils (in our case, we chose olive oil, a well-known Italian excellence) generating, under the right conditions, the so-called ozonides, compounds that store easily negotiable oxygen to be released on the skin without being oxidized (like other competing chemicals do) but with true and effective oxygenation.

Trichloroacetic acid: It is a strong and non-toxic acid. Stable ingredient used in concentrations from 10% to 40%, for peels from superficial to papillary or deep reticular layers of the skin. Its penetration is affected by many variables depending on the type of skin, thickness, method of application, number of layers.
It is very important to assess the skin and its problems in order to apply the most appropriate concentration.

This causes very pronounced inflammation with redness, swelling, and production of serum that dries out to form crusts. The skin regenerates within 10-15 days. It is used to treat skin discoloration, wrinkles, photoaging and scars, with an increase in skin tone and elasticity.

Kojic acid: belongs to hydroxy acids. Until a few years ago, it was extracted from rice bran, and now, after improvements in biotechnology, from Aspergillus and Pennicillum genes. It has antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal and whitening properties. It is used for topical treatments, especially to eliminate sun spots or reduce other types of skin discoloration such as freckles, melasma, sheath, age freckles, and dark circles.

It induces functional repression of tyrosinase subtracting (chelating) copper ions present in enzymes. It inhibits the production of melanin and fades and removes stains, including those already formed. It is also suitable for anti-aging treatments due to its exfoliating and moisturizing effect, regenerates cells and stimulates their exchange.

Mandelic Acid: Derived from bitter almonds. It belongs to the category of alpha-hydroxy aromatic acids. Considered one of the best nutrients for the skin. Its main advantage is a high degree of safety on all types of dermis. Its molecular structure, wider than that of glycolic acid, and its low penetration capacity make it more tolerable and less irritating. A prestigious cosmetic ingredient with antibacterial properties, it works by gradually removing darkness and skin degradation, accelerating cell renewal and regenerating elastin and collagen in the dermis.

Hexapeptide 8 (Argireline): argyrelin is a powerful and unique hexapeptide that reduces existing facial wrinkles and prevents the formation of new ones acting as botulinum toxin. It reduces the depth of wrinkles caused by facial muscle contraction, especially around the eye contour.

Use

Clean the skin with a mild cleanser.
Use Pre Peeling to prepare the skin for the treatment.
Apply Kemikum in the designated places.
After the treatment, apply a universal exfoliating mask.

The storage conditions

Store in a cool and dark place at a temperature of 5 to 25 degrees.
Do not freeze, protect from moisture.

Side effects

After treatment and depending on the sensitivity of the skin, there may be a risk of hyperpigmentation, scarring, infections, persistent erythema, orange peel, shiny skin and hypopigmentation.

Contraindications

Peeling is contraindicated in cardiovascular disease, asthma, mental illness, allergies, autoimmune diseases or ongoing therapy with anticoagulants, pregnancy, keloids.
