Proyal 80 M

A medical device in the form of a hyaluronic gel, intended for intra-articular injection. Its viscoelastic properties normalize the viscosity of synovial fluid, which directly translates into improved joint function and reduced pain-related discomfort.

Composition

• Sodium hyaluronate 20 mg/ml, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, and water-based water.

Performance

• The product’s effect is based on the properties of hyaluronic acid, which is responsible for viscosity and elasticity. Its lubricating and shock-absorbing properties contribute to a tangible improvement in joint function.

Indications

• The Proyal 80 M medical device is indicated for:
• degeneration of joint cartilage,
• degenerative joint disease,
• post-traumatic changes in synovial joints, such as: knee osteoarthritis, knee contusions (runner’s knee).

Product Use

• The dosage is determined by the treating physician.
• The preparation is most often administered weekly, depending on the physician’s recommendations – from 1 to 2 injections.

Contraindications and Precautions

• Before use, read the package insert regarding the product’s instructions for use.
• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the product’s ingredients. If you experience any disturbing symptoms or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a physician.
• Do not use if the packaging has been previously opened or damaged.
• Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture.
  One pre-filled syringe is intended for one patient during a single treatment.
  Keep out of reach of children.
  Do not reuse.

• All precautions should be followed during the procedure.
  This product is intended for intra-articular injection only.
  When disinfecting the skin prior to a planned injection, do not use products containing quaternary amine salts, as this may cause the precipitation of sodium hyaluronate.
  Due to insufficient data, this product should not be used by children or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
