Collagenase (produced by Clostridium Histolyticum), also called clostriodiopeptidase, is an enzyme that breaks down collagen fibers into small peptides.
Like hyaluronidase, it liquefies the connective tissue with even greater efficiency and enables the evacuation of localized fat accumulations. Collagenase is used to melt fat as well as lipomas.
