Indications:
Treatment of androgenetic alopecia in men and women.

Hypersensitivity to minoxidil or other ingredients of Loxon 2%.
Hypertension.
Side effects:
Rarely, skin reactions such as skin irritation and itching may occur.
Excessive hair growth (including the appearance of facial hair in women), localized erythema, dry/scaly scalp and increased hair loss.
Rare cases of hypotension.
Interactions:
No reports.
Dosage:
1 ml of the liquid should be spread on the bald spot and massaged into the skin (usually the top of the head
and frontal bends).
Before use, turn the applicator upwards by 90° and then press the dispenser to apply the product to the scalp.
The medicinal product is applied twice a day.
Hair growth usually starts after 4 months of treatment with Loxon 2%.
The volume of 1 spray is 0.1 ml.
The average volume of 10 sprays is 1 ml.
Do not exceed the dose of 2 ml per day.
Treatment should be discontinued if there is no improvement after 1 year of use.
The Loxon 2% product is not intended for persons under the age of 18 or over 65 years.
Note: after applying the liquid to the scalp, wash your hands thoroughly.
Precautions:
The medicinal product is for use on the scalp only; it should not be used on damaged skin (inflammation, psoriasis) and on shaved scalp.
Loxon 2% should not be used in conjunction with other topical products. Topical drugs such as corticosteroids, tretinoin, dithranol and petrolatum may change the protective properties of the stratum corneum, which may lead to increased absorption of minoxidil into the blood and its systemic effect.
Loxon 2% should be discontinued if hypotension, chest pain, tachycardia, syncope, dizziness, swelling of the extremities occur.
In case of persistent redness of the scalp or irritation, discontinue use of the medicinal product and consult a physician.
People with cardiovascular disease or heart rhythm disorders should consult a doctor before starting treatment.
Increased hair loss may occur at the beginning of treatment (usually weeks 2-6). If increased hair loss persists for more than 2 weeks, stop using Loxon 2% and contact your doctor.
The medicinal product contains alcohol, which may be irritating to mucous membranes and eyes; in case of getting the product into the eyes – rinse them thoroughly with water.
Inhalation of the medicinal product should be avoided.
Driving:
The product has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
Overdosage:
Cases of overdose of minoxidil used externally are not known.
Due to the high concentration of minoxidil in Loxon 2%, accidental ingestion of the product may cause symptoms related to the general effects of minoxidil. The most common are: tachycardia, syncope, dizziness, sudden weight gain.
If similar symptoms are observed, the patient should contact them immediately
with the doctor.
Pregnancy:
Loxon 2% should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding
point 5.3.
