Properties

The OST Tendon medical device is an isotonic viscoelastic solution intended for peritendinous injections and injections into the tendon sheath. 1 ml of the preparation contains 20 mg of sodium hyaluronate—the physiological form of hyaluronic acid found in the human body. The ingredients in OST Tendon spontaneously distribute around the tendon and demonstrate excellent biocompatibility.

The OST Tendon medical device was designed for people struggling with tendinopathy who want to alleviate discomfort and improve mobility. Patients with this condition often complain of pain in the tendon area resulting from stress. The pain appears at the beginning of an activity and decreases with continued activity. As the load increases, the pain can also intensify, often forcing cessation of movement.

Tendinopathy develops under the influence of various external and internal factors. Tendon strain is often caused by excessive physical exertion, improper gait, running, or training methods. Genetic factors and collagen metabolism disorders are also possible. Repeated strain beyond the physiological limit leads to the development of an inflammatory reaction in the tendon sheath or the development of degenerative changes. This, in turn, if the healing process is insufficient, can lead to weakening or even rupture of the tendon. How to use OST Tendon correctly?

How to dispose of OST Tendon?

• Dispose of the OST Tendon prefilled syringes in a medical waste container. Ingredients
• Sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, mannitol, and water for injection.
• 1 ml of solution contains 20.0 mg of sodium hyaluronate.

How to use

This medical device must only be administered by a physician. Inject into the tendon sheath or around the affected tendon.
