Indications: acne vulgaris and skin discoloration; for children and adolescents aged 12 to 18 years and adults.
Composition: 1g of cream contains the active substance: 200mg azelaic acid. The other ingredients are: benzoic acid, macrogolglycerides, stearates, a mixture of nono-, di- and triglycerides of higher fatty acids, cetearyl octanoate, propylene glycol, glycerol 85%, purified water.
Action: antibacterial, inhibits excessive keratinization of the epidermis, reduces the amount of free fatty acids on the skin surface, reduces the formation of blackheads, inhibits the excessive activity of abnormal pigment cells.
Dosage: apply the cream only to the skin. Before using the medicine, thoroughly wash the skin with plain water and dry (you can use a mild skin cleanser). Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, apply a thin layer of cream to the affected areas twice a day – morning and evening. The cream should be gently rubbed in. A strip of cream squeezed out of the tube with a length of 2.5 cm (about 0.5g) is completely enough for the face. Wash your hands after applying.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless your doctor tells you to. There are no data on safety and efficacy in children under 12 years.
